GENERAL TOOL COMPANY, founded in Cincinnati in 1947, is one of the largest and best equipped independent machine builders in the United States. With over 250 employees and over one hundred state-of-the-art CNC machine tools, this ISO-9000 certified firm is recognized for performing high precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, dies and molds, and electromechanical assembly for a wide range of industries. GTC customers include NASA, the General Electric Aircraft Engine Group, Rolls-Royce, the Department of Energy’s Sandia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Boeing, Dupont, Procter & Gamble, and a long list of other technology and manufacturing quality leaders.
